Medications
Our center will not administer any medications.
Exceptions are diaper rash ointments and lotions.
Health
For the protection of all our children, please do not send your child to the center if you have any doubt about his/her health. Inflamed or discharging eyes, ears, or nose; sore throat; rashes or sores; diarrhea; persistent coughing; nausea; fever and red or swollen joints are all signs of illnesses that should be reported to your child’s physician.
Please do not send your child with these or other questionable symptoms. If any questionable symptom occurs during school hours, your child will need to leave the center.
Please call when your child is going to be absent. If your child becomes ill at school, the teacher will remove your child from the group, keeping your child under observation.
The director will be notified, after which parents will be notified. Persons listed on the emergency contact list will be called if parents cannot be reached.
For all children, parents need to provide:
Current health form for your child signed by a physician.
This is required annually. For the safety of all children, a child may not attend school without this form. Please turn in the form to the Administration Staff. Information will be shared with teachers and staff when appropriate.
