Welcome to the month of September!
We are off to an exciting school year, and the children are ready to learn and grow!
During the month of September we will be learning about the five senses, big colorful world, shapes, opposites and music.
Children learn at different rates, and have different experiences, abilities, and interests.
We as teachers understand and embrace these differences, allowing trust to develop, relationships to grow, and healthy learning to follow.
Our teachers are aware of individual differences and respond to them in ways to meet each child’s needs.
Approaches to learning are not about specific knowledge, content or skill.
It’s about how the child learns new skills. Some children are bursting with desire to explore and accept new challenges, while others need more structure and encouragement when trying new things.
The role of each teacher is to provide opportunities for success. All children regardless of learning style or special needs can learn to be successful.
As always, we feel a parent’s perspective is so important to our center.
We would like to receive any input on your expectations for your children, and any special needs or concerns you have so we can better serve you and your children.
Reminders:
- For playground safety and for gross motor play we ask that your child wear sneakers or closed toe shoes.
- There is a 9 am cut off time in place to ensure that we are all learning
- Tuition is due at the First of the month or every Monday
We look forward to this school year and as always if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to speak with us at any time.
Thank you for all of the support that you give us all year long!
With love,
Ms. Autumn and the Amazing Staff
