Welcome to the month of August!
We have had such a fun summer and have just one more fun-filled week before we start back to our curriculum-based school year on August 8th.
We are excited to get back to learning and engaging in activities to learn and grow!
This school year we are working with a new curriculum called Frog Street.
This curriculum comes with lots of fun learning games and hands on learning activities to further help the Children’s development and coincides with the Florida standards for birth through five years.
During the weeks of August as we start our school year, we will be learning about our families and our heritages.
Please send in a family photo, and feel free to share any material or information you may have about your family’s heritage or traditions.
On August 10th, VPK students will start off the new school year by meeting new friends and starting our VPK program. We ask that you start on Monday August 8th so your child can get comfortable with their new classroom. We are including our school year calendar with important dates with this email.
The week of August 1st we will be getting brand new furniture for each room and we are also renovating our playground!
We also plan to paint and make some more improvements. We can’t wait for our school to look new and refreshed as we bring in the new school year!
As always, we feel a parent’s perspective is so important to our center. We would like to receive any input on your expectations for your children, and any special needs or concerns you have so we can better serve you and your children.
