Dear Parents,
Welcome to the month of December at Miss Adele’s Learning Center.
This month’s themes for preschool will be Active me, Community places, Community helpers, Christmas and safety. Our themes this month for VPK are Active me, Living and nonliving, Stories, Christmas and Opposites.
On December 23rd we will be having our polar express PJ party where we will make hot chocolate and we will be decorating Christmas cookies!
New things are happening at MALC! Refer a family and if they enroll we will give you a $100 tuition credit! Also, in our VPK class we will be starting to learn cursive writing after we have mastered our print letters! Offering cursive is a great way to promote early literacy and is a great skill to have.
Just a reminder Tuition is due weekly Every Monday and Monthly on the 1st of each month. Late fees will begin to apply each Wednesday or on the 3rd of the month. There will be no exceptions. If we do not receive tuition by the end of the week it is due your child will not be allowed back at school until the balance is paid.
The Early Learning Coalition has also asked us to remind all parents that you must sign children in and out with the parent’s full first and last names. The coalition makes visits to monitor this throughout the month so please help us stay in compliance. Also, if you are on school readiness, ELC only allows you to miss three unexcused days. Please bring an excuse for the days missed. If you have more than three unexcused absences your School readiness may drop you.
